Learn to Row

The Xavier Prep Crew rowers, coaches and parents invite you to join our team! Most rowers that join our team have had no previous rowing experience. Every summer, we offer Learn To Row classes for Xavier girls who would like to try our sport. Our program generally takes place in the late afternoon at Tempe Town Lake. We look forward to seeing you on the lake soon!

Introduction to Rowing (2 days; 3 hours each day)
We will use both the rowing barge and rowing machines to teach you the basics of rowing. Cost $35.

• June 7 & 9
• June 14 & 16
• August 2 & 4
• August 16 & 18

Learn to Row (5 days; 2 1/2 hours each day)
For girls who have already taken our Introduction to Rowing. We will teach safety, boat handling skills and you will row in the Xavier Prep Crew racing shells. Cost $85.
