Volunteer Hours

Parent/Family Hours:

Every family is required to perform 40 volunteer hours per year or a $20.00 per hour fee will be assessed at the end of the year for any unearned hours. For families with 2 or more rowers on the team the number of volunteer hours will be 55 hours per family. We understand families are comprised of different members (parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles) so in clarifying what parent/family hours, it means 2 adults per family, per event.

Hours Worked:

Committee chairs will solicit a specific number of volunteers in advance of each event, via email or website. The committee chair will have a sign up sheet at the event, with the names of the volunteers and approved hours and the volunteer will need to initial the sheet after his/her shift is completed. Each committee chair is responsible for communicating to the volunteer coordinator the names of volunteers, actual hours worked and the name of the rower no later than 7 days after the event.

Earning Hours:

We have a variety of different positions to earn your volunteer hours. Please see "Table for Earned Volunteers Hours" for specific jobs and hours earned.
